Meisam Naderi was born in Iran, in 1982. In 2006, he received his bachelor degree in electronics engineering from the Bahonar University, Kerman, Iran, and in 2010, he received his master’s degree in telecommunications engineering from Shahed University, Tehran, Iran. His master’s thesis was related to the synchronization in MIMO-OFDM systems. From 2010 to 2013, he was with Roham Datak Telecom as a RF engineer and wireless supervisor.

Since October 2013, he worked towards his PhD degree under the supervision of Professor Matthias Pätzold at the University of Agder. On 25 October 2017, he successfully defended his thesis.
His research interests and background include MIMO-OFDM systems, channel modeling, underwater communication, timing and frequency synchronization techniques as well as cooperative communication and its applications in underwater communication.
